Question 1

What is FutureProof?

Accepted Answer

FutureProof is a daily science podcast. Every weekday we take one real, peer-reviewed paper and explain it in plain English: what was tested, what they found, and how much to trust it. About ten minutes an episode. Listen in the app, on the site, or in your own podcast app — and read the full text if you would rather read than listen.

Question 2

What kind of research does FutureProof cover?

Accepted Answer

Science worth knowing, across artificial intelligence, biotechnology, energy, materials, agriculture, technology, sustainability, robotics and space. We look for research that sounds like science fiction but is actually happening now.

Question 3

How often are new episodes published?

Accepted Answer

Five a week, Monday to Friday. Friday is a longer deep dive. Members get every episode the moment it lands, plus the full archive.

Question 4

What do I get with a free account?

Accepted Answer

Friday's episode, free every week, plus every episode in the archive marked free. No card needed. You can listen in the app or on the site, and if you want it delivered you can switch on email as well.

Question 5

Do I have to sign up for emails?

Accepted Answer

No. Email is optional. FutureProof is a podcast first — the episode is always waiting for you in the app. If you like an inbox nudge, turn emails on in your account and switch them off any time without touching your access.

Question 6

What does membership cost?

Accepted Answer

Membership is $9 a month, or $89 a year if you prefer to pay once. Both start with a 14-day free trial, and both unlock all five weekday episodes, the complete archive and the private podcast feed.

Question 7

What's included in the private podcast feed?

Accepted Answer

A personal RSS feed with the audio of every FutureProof episode, so you can listen in Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Overcast or whichever app you already use. You get your feed link after joining.

Question 8

How do I access the private podcast feed?

Accepted Answer

Once you are a member, open your account page. Your unique feed link is there, with step-by-step instructions for the popular podcast apps. The feed is private to you — please do not share it.

Question 9

Can I cancel my membership?

Accepted Answer

Yes, any time from your account settings. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. We don't refund unused time, but you can always cancel before the next renewal.

Question 10

Is there a free trial?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every new membership starts with a 14-day free trial. You won't be charged until it ends, and you can cancel before then from your account settings. See our Billing Policy page for the full details.

Question 11

How do I contact support?

Accepted Answer
